Panthers and K-11 CC cruise to early victories over the weekend as 2nd half of the Port Harcourt Cricket League resumes

Game 9: Panthers CC Vs Whales CC. (3rd February 2018)

Whales CC won the toss & elected to bat first scoring a total of 139 runs all out in 24.4 overs. Major performers with the bat for Whales CC include Adum Godswill 41 runs supported by Chukwudi Nwogor 27 runs and Bagshaw Miebaka 25 runs respectively.

Cyril Djebah got the best bowling figures for Panthers with 3 wickets for 28 runs in 4 overs.

In the second innings, Panthers CC chased down the total, scoring 142 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in 13.2 overs. Chukwudi Onwuliri led the bating numbers with 28 runs, Jude Okechi 21 runs, Richard Imoh 19 runs and Dormotimi Erelayefah 14 runs which was enough to secure victory for Panthers CC

Panthers CC won by 5 wickets.

 

Game 10: Benvic CC vs K-11 CC (4th February 2018)

Benvic CC won the toss & elected to bat first scoring a total of 208 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in 35 overs. Simisola Olurombi scored 32 runs supported by Tamuno John 30 runs while Jerome Mbom and  Ifeanyi Uboh scored 28 runs respectively.

Isiaka Audu of K-11 CC got a bowling statistics of 3 wickets for 54 runs in 6 overs.

In the second innings, K-11 CC chased down the total to record 209 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in 33.4 overs. Olumide Ajao put up a man of the match performance with a knock of 74 runs strongly supported by Audu Isiaka 44 runs and Charles Nwaozuzu  20 runs.

K-11 CC won by 6 wickets.

    He’s Happiness Ever came flying all the way from Uyo… Given a nomination for the National team call Up but his name wasn’t found on the 33 Man squad. Watch out for him in the U19 Trials!!!
