The Nigeria Cricket Federation in its quest to improve grassroot Cricket in Nigeria and also improved the standard of play have resolved to embark on a facility upgrade across the country. Major States to be upgraded to grass wicket include,
- Tafawa Balewa Square Cricket Oval
- Abuja Nationala Stadium Cricket oval
- Croccodile Clud Cricket Oval KAduna State
- Uniport Cricket Oval Rivers State and others
