The Zonal eliminations for the 4th edition of the National Youth Games slated for 7-17th September 2018 in Ilorin, Kwara State have been concluded across 2 zones. South-South and South-West conducted their zonal eliminations on the 8th and 9th of August with 4 states set for the finals.

Male 1st semifinals

Lagos State vs Osun State.

Lagos State won the toss and chose to field sending in Osun state to bat. Osun State played 23 runs for loss of 5 wickets in 10 overs.

In the second innings, Lagos State played 24 runs for loss of no wicket in 2.2 overs.

Lagos State won by 10 wickets.

 

Male 2nd Semi-finals.

Ogun State vs Oyo State

Oyo State won the toss and elected to field first sending in Ogun state to bat. Ogun State played 47 runs for loss of 6 wickets in 10 overs.

In the second innings, Oyo State played 49 runs for loss of 2 wickets in 6.4 overs.

Oyo won by 8 wickets.

 

MALE FINAL

Lagos State vs Oyo State

Lagos State won the toss and chose to field first sending in Oyo State to bat. Oyo State played 72 runs all out in 15 overs.

In the second innings, Lagos State played 54 runs all out in 14.3 overs.

Oyo won by 18 runs.
