Nigeria Lost their opening fixture against Australia in the ongoing ICC U-19 World Cup in Kimberley, South Africa.
 
Australia beat Nigeria by 10 wickets but the team in unperturbed after taking the positives from the game and 2 sessions of practice in preparation for their second match against West Indies.
 
Captain Sylvester Okpe said after the practice that the mood in the camp was very positive as the boys are ready to give is all against West Indies with a more improved performance.
Coach of the team Uthe Ogbimi reaffirmed that the boys are ready to go against the Windies admitting that Nerves and too much respect for the opponent may have been responsible for the performance against Australia.
 
Nigeria will play the West Indies on Thursday 23rd January 2020 at the Country Club, Kimberley.
