The Nigeria U-19 Cricket Team A.K.A Junior Yellow Greens arrived to a heroes welcome in Lagos on Monday 3rd January 2020 after a successful stint at the just concluded U-19 world cup in South Africa. Receiving the players and technical crew on behalf of the Federation was the Vice President Mr. Uyi Akpata.
Mr Uyi expressed satisfaction at the performance of the boys, insisting that Nigeria is now on the history books of global cricket because of the boys. he also promised on behalf of the Federation that areas for improvement that have been highlighted by the technical team will be given top priority to ensure that we continue to write our names in the sands of time as far as Cricket is concerned in Africa and the world at large.
Also present at the reception were board members, fans, stakeholders and members of the press.
