It was a two days Capacity Development Webinar executed by the NCF via the office of the Technical Director where Coaches and Umpires around the country joined in for what was a quality time to learn from the National Men’s Coach Uthe Clive Ogbimi and National Women’s Coach Onome Oghenekevwe who spoke on Technical and Non-Technical Aspects of Coaching.

Day One saw the two National Coaches talk participants through a robust and interesting presentation where the skills, knowledge, lifestyle, passion, attitude among many play a vital role in the Technical and Non-Technical aspects of coaching. It was an opportunity for coaches to ask questions which were aptly answered by the Facilitators.

Day Two was focused on Umpires and the two facilitators for the day Olumide Akintokun and Enesi Habib who are both certified local and international umpires enlightened participants on the Duties of Umpires and The Playing Control Team (PCT) Code.

The two sessions were unarguably informative and timely as fellow umpires were better equipped after both sessions with questions and concerns surrounding Umpires correctly treated.

The Technical Director Enesi Habib reassured participants that the exercise will be a continuous one and as such no one should get tired of participating. Tayo Sowole anchored the sessions for the Two Days where he ended by saying the Webinar is a step in a right direction for Umpires and Coaches education even during this period.
