Nigeria Cricket Federation invites 36 players to camp in Benin City.

The Nigeria Cricket Federation is pleased to inform the general public that a total of 36 ladies have been invited to open camp in Benin City, Edo State, as preparations begin for the NCF International Women’s invitational T20I scheduled to take place from the 26th of March to 6th of April 2022 in Lagos.

The ladies Invited are drawn from the pool of senior national team players and a blend of youth that were identified from the just concluded National Under-17 Championship. Nigeria will look to select the best from players invited as they look forward to the women’s invitational and other tournaments lined up for the year.

A series of trial matches have been scheduled in a bid to prune the team that will go into closed camping.

Countries expected to participate include. Rwanda, Sierra Leone, Ghana, The Gambia, Cameroon and host Nigeria.
