Like a fairytale, the Edo State Cricket Family awakened to a soothing and refreshing news once again on the surprise August gift in July.
The Ground authority received with delight 2 brand new Mowers and Medium sized motorized roller donated by state Association Chairman, Mr. Uyi Akpata. The machines were donated to the association to ensure the continuous maintenance of the turf wicket at Edo Boys High Performance Center and the Iyoba Girls College Cricket Oval.
You may recall that a few days back, 10 players and 2 coaches from the National Under-19 Boys and Girls team were also sponsored on a 1 month High Performance training tour to Zimbabwe by the Edo State Cricket association ahead of the ICC Under-19 Boys and Girls World Cup Qualifiers in September and October respectively.
Cricket development in Nigeria is a collective call to service and all genuine stakeholders must work together to achieve this.
