Opting to field first after winning the toss, the Yellow Greens put up a disciplined bowling performance, restricting Kenya to a total of 149 runs for the loss of 7 wickets. Isaac Okpe was instrumental with the ball, delivering 3 overs with an impressive economy rate of 6.33, conceding just 19 runs and taking 2 crucial wickets. Vincent Adewoye also shone, bowling 2 overs, conceding only 12 runs, and claiming 2 wickets.
