CURTAIN FALLS ON THE MAIDEN NCF INDOOR SUPER-SIX TOURNAMENT AS PAKISTAN SHAHEENS EMERGE CHAMPIONS

The inaugural edition of the Nigeria Cricket Federation (NCF) Indoor Super-Six Tournament concluded in Abuja with an electrifying atmosphere filled with excitement, suspense, and nail-biting finishes. The competition featured nine teams, with Group A hosting four teams and Group B hosting five.

The tournament commenced on Saturday evening, November 1, 2025, under the floodlights of the Indoor Sports Hall. From the onset, cricket fans were treated to thrilling performances, setting the tone for an action-packed finale on Sunday.

GROUP STAGE HIGHLIGHTS

A total of 16 matches were played in the group stages.

SEMI-FINALS

• • Semi-Final 1
    CCA Tigers defeated Peshawar Zalmi emphatically by 7 wickets, booking their place in the final.

• • Semi-Final 2
    Pakistan Shaheens secured a comfortable 7-wicket victory against the Pakistan Embassy Eagles, setting up a highly anticipated final against CCA Tigers.

3RD PLACE MATCH

In a closely contested encounter, the Pakistan Embassy Eagles defeated Peshawar Zalmi by 6 runs, clinching third place in a game that went down to the final over.

GRAND FINALE

The final lived up to expectations with high-intensity cricket.
Pakistan Shaheens, batting first, posted the tournament’s highest total of 65 runs.
In response, CCA Tigers put up a brave chase but fell short, managing 57 runs.
Pakistan Shaheens won by 8 runs and were crowned champions of the maiden NCF Indoor Super-Six Tournament.
