Girls’ Championship: South South and South East Secure Final Berths
The Girls’ semi-finals delivered nail-biting finishes as the South East and South South regions emerged victorious to claim their spots in the grand finale.
South South vs. North West: The South South Female team successfully defended a total of 90/9, holding off a spirited North West chase that ended at 83/8. The 7-run victory was anchored by disciplined bowling and crucial middle-order contributions from Okpara Treasure and Umukoro Lilian.

After restricting the South West to 44 runs, they survived a middle-order collapse to chase down the target, finishing at 45/6 in just 8.5 overs. Nnachi Olive was the standout performer with the ball, returning remarkable figures of 3 wickets for just 2 runs in 3 overs.
Boys’ Championship: Dominant Performances in Classification Matches
While the finals loom, the battle for pride and podium spots in the Boys’ category saw the South East and South West claim decisive victories.
South East Claims Victory: The South East Male team put on a clinical display against South South, bowling them out for 55. Echem Chukwuemeka led the destruction with 3 wickets for 7 runs.
