As Muslims celebrates the Eid-el Kabir across the nation, the Lagos state Junior Cricket team also shared in the celebration irrespective of their religious faith and orientation. Though Covid-19 Pandemic continues to bite hard in the country, some people have continue to show that there is hope in Humanity and one of such people is the Gentle Man and Cricketer, Mr. Oluwaseun Garuba.
In a bid to felicitate and identify with the junior players (both male and Female) in Lagos State, Mr Seun Garuba distributed palliatives to 25 young Cricketers to cushion the effect of the pandemic and encourage them to keep thier heads above water.
In a phone interview with Mr. Garuba, he was excited to have been able to contribute his own little quota in times like these. “The reason behind the palliative is to show love and care to the young Cricketers in the state at this striving time in the country. It is a win for Cricket and Humanity” he said.
Some of the players who received the token expressed delight, while extending their gratitude and prayed for God’s blessings for Mr. Garuba
