Akwa Ibom, Delta and Edo States have continued to engage in grassroots cricket development as news schools are captured every day.

In Akwa Ibom state, Fulga International College was the latest school to be introduced to the game of Cricket. This came on the backdrop of the game being introduced to Akwa Ibom Comsecom Itam 2 where a total of 35 girls and 85 boys took part in the program. Asaba the Delta State capital, Junior Staff Primary school was the target as a total of 142 pupils both Girls and Boys participating. Finally in Edo State, Idia College, the most populated girls’ school in the state was revisited with an aim of introducing more girls to the game and ensures an ideal sustenance process in coaching. A total of 41 girls were introduced to the game with a plan of getting similar numbers weekly.

All activities were captured using the GIS mapping system which pinpoints events and activities occurring in real time.
